About Me

I bring over 25 years of dedicated experience as a Registered Nurse and a highly respected International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). My passion for supporting new families began with 14 years as a postpartum and maternity nurse, where I taught countless breastfeeding classes to mothers before they left the hospital.

In 2017, I founded my own practice to make expert lactation care more accessible to the community. My clinical expertise and certification allow me to provide tailored guidance for each family’s unique breastfeeding journey.

I am happily married to my husband, Dr. Douglas Burgett, OB/GYN, and together we share a deep commitment to maternal health. I’m also a proud mother of seven children and grandmother to eleven wonderful grandchildren.

Outside of my work, I love traveling, boating, and swimming in the summer, skiing in the winter, and spending time with my four spoiled Labrador retrievers.
